Small Businesses Doing BIG Things!

I am really excited to announce that the two non-profits I helped form, received their tax exemption status with the IRS recently (meaning they are now a 501 c3 status and able to provide tax deductible receipts to their donors).

These two entrepreneurs are not new to the grind, they are community activist and toy store owner Kemesha Salmon, and motivational speak and author, James McLeod.

Kemesha's next gig is the Founder of Kemesha's Kommunity. The non-profit has been providing educational resources, meals, clothing, and toys to the New Rochelle community. Now, Kemesha is expanding her reach to help more kids and families in need. To learn more, visit www.KemeshasKommunity.org

You can catch James AKA That Vitiligo Guy making inspirational IG posts and videos daily.

He has a mission to teach children (and adults) about acceptance, and that being different is what makes us extraordinary. His two children's books were a hit in my house! You can purchase "The Boy Behind The Face" and "My Daily Superpowers" on Amazon.

Soon, That Vitiligo Guy Foundation will be working to help children in need.

Next up is Trained by Jake, the personal trainer has a mission to bring special needs fitness to life. Currently Jake is fundraising on GoFundMe to achieve the goal of creating a fitness studio that will be accessible to children and adults with special needs. Jake has been working with this population for quite some time, and wants to continue to do so, while also growing the services his company offers, and expanding it to families who may not be able to afford fitness for their special needs child.
